Roger Needham Award and Lecture

The BCS Roger Needham award and lecture were established in memory of the late Professor Roger Needham.

The award is made annually for a distinguished research contribution in computer science by a UK based researcher within ten years of their PhD. The award is sponsored by Microsoft Research in Cambridge.

The lecture is given by the award winner each year and is held at The Royal Society, London.
